Nature's Hidden Faces: A Journey Through Cleveland Metro Parks

This collection celebrates the art of pareidolia—finding faces and figures in the natural world. Each mixed-media collage is created from outdoor photography captured during horseback rides through Cleveland Metro Parks, where trees (living and fallen), plants, lichen, frozen water, and shadows reveal unexpected characters and stories.

With over 500 pareidolia-inspired photographs documenting these hidden gems, this ongoing series invites both children and adults to see the parks through new eyes. Each piece combines gel-plate printing with the original nature photography to create layered, narrative-driven artwork.
